Important Quality Reporting Program Deadline

Earlier this year, CMS notified Skilled Nursing Facility (SNFs) that are non-compliant with SNF Quality Reporting Program (QRP) requirements for Quarter 4 of Calendar Year 2016, their Fiscal Year 2018 annual payment update will be affected.

On July 14, 2017, CMS mailed non-compliance letters for Quarter 1 of Calendar Year 2017 and placed them in the Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (QIES)-Certification and Survey Provider Enhanced Reporting (CASPER) system. Providers that received a letter of non-compliance may submit a request for reconsideration to CMS via email no later than 11:59pm PST, August 17, 2017. Providers that receive a letter of non-compliance may submit a request for reconsideration to CMS via email no later than 11:59pm PST, August 13, 2017.
