Description of Seminar
This 1-1/2 day program provides attendees with an in-depth analysis of the RAI process – as it relates to reimbursement (RUGs) and the necessary supportive documentation; Quality Indicators; and the survey process (with the specific assessment and care plan F tags discussed). The RAPs and Care Plan will be discussed in greater detail as they relate to these issues. This course WILL NOT include the basics of how to do a MDS.

Target Audience
• Six months to one year or more of MDS experience with a basic understanding of the QI, RUGs, and survey process
• Administrators
• MDS Coordinators (and “back up” licensed staff)
• All members of the interdisciplinary MDS/Care Plan Team including Activity Directors, Social Service Directors, and Dietary Managers

Day 2 Registration 8:00 am Class starts at 8:30 am ends by 12 noon Fees $175 Per Member for first registrant $165 first additional registrant $160 any other additional registrant $240 – Non Member Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made in writing and may be faxed or mailed to the KAHCF office. Cancellations by phone will not be accepted. Cancellations received by December 1st will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between December 2nd and December 8th will receive a refund of ½. Registrants who do not complete the full seminar will not receive a refund unless prior written notice is given to the KAHCF office.
