State Training for Activity Directors03/22/2010 - 8:00am 03/26/2010 - 5:00pm KAHCF Training Center This 5-day program offers an in-depth study of resident and activity programming for their special needs. It will include a review of CMS’s new survey guidelines for F248 (Activities) and F249 (Activity Director Qualifications) and CMS’s new Investigative Protocol and a Psychosocial Outcomes Severity Grid that surveyors will utilize during the survey process. This program is designed to prepare the participants to function ethically and effectively in the prevailing health care climate. A “Certificate of Completion” will be awarded to participants who complete the course. Topics Covered Participants will also receive federal, state, and long term care news updates, as well as networking opportunities.
