Seminar Description

The new survey process, as well as new surveyor guidance, went into effect November 28th, and is “in full swing.” There are currently 696 pages of surveyor guidance and ONLY FIVE of those pages contain NO changes or revisions. The guidance is so extensive that CMS only had time to “highlight” certain portions during Surveyor Trainings, yet facilities will be held responsible for knowing (and implementing) every facet of the new guidelines/requirements. During this training, Cat will be addressing the most significant portions of the MDS RoP/Surveyor Guidance that will draw the most scrutiny from surveyors. She will be providing suggestions/recommendations on operational process so that your team will be better prepared to meet the new survey demands. Additionally, she will be discussing the survey trends and deficiencies that are being cited under the new survey process. A significant amount of focus is being placed on social services and activities. Register your entire team to assure their readiness for upcoming surveys!
