Seminar Description

This course is designed for those who have been a Social Service Designee for less than six months or for those interested in becoming a qualified Social Service Designee. This course has numerous updates and serves as a great refresher course for those who are experienced and those interested in re-entering the profession.

Speakers

Grady Browning holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. He is a licensed Social Worker in the state of Indiana and in the state of Kentucky. Grady has worked in the healthcare industry as a social worker, discharge planner, recruiter, staff development coordinator and social service and activity healthcare consultant. He has over 20+ years’ experience in long term care. Focusing in the areas of social service, activity, QIDP and quality of life, Grady has served as the Senior Consultant for Lacy Beyl & Company, Inc. for the past 19 years. Grady is an instructor for the Indiana State approved Social Service Course, Activity Course and QIDP Course. He has presented multiple seminars and training sessions throughout Indiana and Kentucky focusing on quality of life, person centered care, dementia programming, QIS surveys and quality clinical outcomes for residents

CONTINUING EDUCATION
This seminar has been approved for 12 contact hours for nursing facility administrators by the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Long-Term Care Administrators and Kentucky Board of Nursing for RN/LPNs.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation received in writing no later than seven (7) workdays prior to a seminar will receive a full refund. Cancellations received in writing inside of seven (7) workdays will receive one-half refund.
Any participants who don't attend a program will receive no refund unless prior notice in writing is given to the association office as outlined in this policy.
Participants may appeal refund determinations by requesting reconsideration by the Executive Committee. Such appeals must be made in writing within 30 days after the seminaror convention is held.
